my redecorating project was put on hold for a few days--drew had a full social calendar for the weekend (no kidding, it was all him) and then started running a fever on monday. he sat in my lap for most of yesterday but seems to be back to normal today.
don't get too excited...the only thing interesting in these pictures is the new wall color, and some of you may think that gray is horrible. i'm okay with that. i love the change. in our first house (a rental), we didn't bother to put much on the walls and bought mostly neutral colored furniture. i loved that little house, and i guess this room feels a little bit like that house to me.
for those of you who have artistic vision, consider drew's room a blank canvas. before i painted it, the room felt way too busy to me, so i think i'm going to take my time filling it up with new stuff. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
other than the hanging alphabet we kept above the bed, there is nothing on the walls.
i really want something like this to hang on the other walls, but even $25 is a splurge for this frugal mama. plus, i'm pretty sure i'd want more than just one.

WOW Drew has changed a ton since we saw him last. He looks so much older now! Love your new paint color and that you are blogging more. Keep it up friend. I like reading about what you are up to.

ReplyDeleteYou know I swoon for Gray!! You also must have those giraffe prints, however all it will cost you is about $5.00. Just copy the image from the website (slightly illegal, but oh so worth it) or some other animal image you love from the internet into a word document, and print on card stock. Buy and spray paint a goodwill frame, and buy a mat at Hobby lobby for like $2.00. I do it for art all the time.
